"One's laughter may be an other's tears"- Christina Pagliarulo
Do you ever catch yourself laughing at someone else's expense? Did you ever realize that even though it may have been a joke someone made about that person and everyone thought it was funny...everyone except for the one who's being laughed at. You're laughter may cause someone else's tears, is your joke really worth the pain that you are putting someone through just for you to get a chuckle? Imagine if it were you being laughed at because of a flaw or a difference you have would you appreciate it if people laughed at your expense? Probably not. What if the person you were making fun of was already having a terrible day as it was, and has a terrible life at home? Then she comes to work and gets made fun of, it's hard enough as it is dealing with the normal things life dishes out. So why make it harder for someone? Wouldn't you rather make their load a little less heavy instead? Everyday people go home from work, or school and decide it's not worth it anymore. Wouldn't that be an expensive joke, to have cost someone their life?
