I believe this quote whenever I have a song on my heart it keeps me in good spirits. Music soothes and heals. It helps you realize shit happens to everyone not just you and it's life. Everyone deals with the same things you go through each and everyday. And some of us write and sing about it, and others listen, or dance to it, or sing along. Either way in some way shape or form whether we know it or not we are coping.
A quote by Angela Monet states,"Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music."
I think this is brilliant, and such an eye opener. Those who danced were dancing to music that they could hear and they looked insane to those who could not hear the music. But who really has the problem the people who appear to be dancing in silence, or the ones who cannot hear the music?
Some Musicians that I've found to really help me cope and get through a tough day are: Kina Grannis, Colbie Caillat, Regina Spektor, Jason Reeves, Sublime, Norah Jones and those are just a few check them out let me know what you thought!
